Install Render Quote AI on your store

No Partner app, no OAuth, no tunnel. Paste one snippet into your theme, save, and open the storefront. Leads land in Admin → Leads.

  1. Open theme codeShopify admin → Online Store → Themes → … → Edit code → layout/theme.liquid
  2. Paste before </body>

  3. Save and previewHard-refresh the storefront. You should see a Customize button. It opens the design in a centered window. Walk a piece → render → leave a lead with the demo key pk_demo_carato_shopify.
  4. Confirm in CaratoOpen https://carato.vercel.app/admin/leads (Memory store until DATABASE_URL is set).

Point Customize at your page

In Admin → Embed, choose “Link to a page” and paste that page’s URL. The same Customize label becomes a link. The page itself uses the full-page snippet, with your logo, color, and light or dark theme. A full-width inline section is still available there, and it is not the default.

When you want the Theme App Extension

Scaffold lives in plugins/shopify/. Create a Partner app, set SHOPIFY_API_KEY / SHOPIFY_API_SECRET, then shopify app deploy. Until then, theme.liquid paste is the dogfood path. Full notes: plugins/shopify/DOGFOOD.md.
