Privacy
The design widget on a jeweler’s site collects only what a jewelry CRM needs for fraud, fulfillment, and first-party analytics. We do not sell shopper data. We do not use data brokers. We do not record GPS, canvas fingerprints, or other sites you visited.
What we collect
- IP (hashed) and approximate city / region / country from the request
- Browser user-agent, viewport, language, and timezone you send
- Referrer, UTM, landing page, and the shop domain that loaded the widget
- Which design steps you opened, and how long you stayed
- The design, estimate, and contact details you type
- A consent timestamp when you use the widget
What we do not collect
- Precise GPS
- Your contacts or photos except the ones you upload
- Payment card numbers (Stripe hosts those)
- Inferred race or religion
- Silent device fingerprints
Jewelers can export or delete a shopper from Settings → Privacy. Contact hello@carato.ai.
